Welcome to Where I Will Roam, a travel blog that details the adventures of trips in the U.S. and beyond. My name is Bridget, and for the last five years, I’ve been roaming the world from coast to coast, across oceans, mountains and valleys. I created Where I Will Roam to share my experiences, photos, and lessons learned while exploring this wonderful, wide world.

I’m a firm believer that travel is food for the soul, and I spend as much time as I can visiting new cities, experiencing new cultures, and climbing to new heights. Still, I’ll be the first to tell you I’m not a travel expert. However, I am a planner to the Nth degree. I’ve been described as type A++, and so when I take off on a trip, you won’t find me winging it – at least not until I’m immersed in the travel experience.

As you explore Where I Will Roam, you’ll find travel tips and tricks, real-life experiences, memorable moments, delicious local dishes and drinks, and photos from some of the beautiful areas I’ve been to. And, as nearly every trip I take involves climbing a mountain of some sort, you’ll find hiking routes from state and national parks and forests, as well as some of the world’s most beautiful hikes.

I hope you enjoy following my adventures, and that you can use some of my tips as you explore the world yourself. So tell me, where will you roam?
